At least 15 people have been killed after a three-story under construction building collapsed in Mali, the government and local media said.
A total of 26 people were rescued from the partially occupied building after it collapsed by dawn.
“Thanks to the efforts of emergency services, a four-year-old girl was safely pulled out of the rubble.
“Another victim was also safely released,” said the public protection ministry, which has opened an investigation into the building’s owner.
According to media reports, the top floor of the building collapsed and hit another floor
Under construction building incidents are quite common in Mali as they are often built without the permission, details and strict monitoring.
