British Airways, part of Group International Airlines, resumes flights to Cairo following a suspension on security issues, the company said today.

“Following a thorough assessment of security planning, we are pleased to announce our services will continue today,” British Airways spokesman said.

The company suspended flights to Cairo last Saturday for seven days as a security measure when it assessed security controls at Cairo airport.
