Authorities in Cameroon have arrested 30 Nigerian nationals after crossing the border illegally on suspicion of links to the extreme Boko Haram movement..
Police spokesman said that these people had crossed the border into Cameroon from a stronghold of Boko Haram, without prior permits or possession of identification papers.
He added that their arrest came after they failed to identify the names of the people claiming to be visiting them in Cameroon, which raised suspicions of belonging to the movement “Boko Haram”, which is handled by the authorities of Cameroon seriously.
