Charitable Action Against Hunger (ACF) Thursday confirmed that six of its workers were kidnapped in northeastern Nigeria, just as a group posted a video recording of them.

Paris-based organizations providing food aid to poor communities around the world say, one employee, two drivers and three health workers working for local ACF groups among kidnapped victims in the video.

They said they demanded that their staff and colleagues be released.

“They are humanitarian workers who devote their lives by helping the poorest people in Nigeria and are motivated only by the value of unity, humanity and neutrality,”ACF said.

Today, an extremist group linked to the militant group Daesh posted a video recording showing the kidnapped victim.
