A light aircraft Cessna 303 carrying three passengers crashed into a house near here, according to the Federal Aviation Administration of the United States (FAA).

The Cessna 303 aircraft, which departed Orange County Airport, had stopped to refuel at Sky Acres in LaGrangeville. It was leaving Sky Acres en route to Farmingdale when it crashed into a house on Smith Road in Union Vale around 4:15 p.m. Saturday.

Local news agencies reported that the unfortunate Cessna crashed on a house in Dutchess County at about 4.29pm Saturday.

The FAA said details of the victim’s condition are still unknown.

Accordingly, the FAA will initiate an investigation into the cause of the accident.
