Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has announced that he will sign a contract enabling companies to test self-driving cars on July 1 without the need for any reserve driver, allowing passengers to send and watch video without fear of legal accountability.
According to Engadget, there are already some plans to test cars without drivers in Florida, which may encourage other companies to carry out this experiment, especially with the existence of laws that allow.
Some countries have allowed free self-driving cars, which is a good opportunity for companies to test their smart cars, but whether or not the technology is ready, due to serious accidents, has killed dozens.
