An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale struck on Sunday in the coastal city of Samara, Costa Rica.
A statement of the American Geological Survey stated that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 44 km from the northwestern northwestern coastal city of Samara, Costa Rica, at a depth of about 50 km below the sea level.
There were no immediate reports of human casualties or material damage.
