A federal grand jury has indicted a former soldier on Wednesday over allegations of planning to blow up a mass rally in Long Beach, California, the Justice Department said last month..

Authorities arrested Mark Stephen Domingo, 26, from Risida, California, who served with the military in Afghanistan in connection with a plot to blow up a gathering of white nationalists last month..

The Justice Department said the jury indictment charged Domingo with charges of providing material support to terrorists and attempting to use a peace of mass destruction.
