A person  opened fire at a food exhibition in famed Gilroy Garlic Festival in Northern California a police spokesman said there were casualties.

No details have been provided so far, NBC  said. The ambulance crews were informed that 11 people had been “shot down” after shooting at the annual Gilroy Garelik Festival in Gilroy, south of San Jose.

Video clips of social media were shown. The festival’s visitors were confused in various directions while a loud bang could be heard in the background.

A woman’s voice was heard in the passage saying, “What’s going on?” Who shoots at the Garlic Festival” she said.? ”

President Trump said on Twitter that “reports are that shooter has not yet been apprehended. Be careful and safe!”

The Gilroy Garelik Festival, founded in 1979, includes food, drinks, live shows and cooking competitions. The festival says volunteers host it and describe itself as the world’s largest summer food show.
