Ivanka Trump, the eldest daughter of the US president and her husband Jared Kushner, earned 135 million dollars in profits from real estate and capital markets, but profits were down from last year, the Associated Press reported.

US agency on Saturday disclosed financial records, Ivanka Trump and her husband earned up to 135 million dollars during their second year as aides to the US president. The daughter’s share in her family’s hotel in Washington, DC, earned $ 3.95 million in 2018, which was unchanged from the previous year.

The hotel, a favorite gathering place for foreign diplomats and lobbyists, is at the center of two federal cases that Trump is in violation of the constitution’s ban on foreign government payments to the president.

Ivanka Trump, whose personal business sells handbags, shoes and accessories, earned at least $ 1 million in revenue in 2018, compared with at least $ 5 million a year earlier. Ivanka announced in July last year that she plans to close the fashion company to focus on her work as a White House counselor to her father.

The records show her husband’s investigation of hundreds of thousands of dollars of his property in New York City apartments and that he has a stake in Cedar Real Estate Investment Company for at least $ 25 million.
