Masked protesters seize Venezuelan embassy in Bolivia

Venezuelan Ambassador to Bolivia Crisbeylee Gonzalez said that masked protesters seized the headquarters of her country’s embassy in Bolivia, following the resignation of Bolivian President Evo Morales.

She added that the protesters wanted to commit a “massacre” against embassy staff, Sky News reported on Monday.

In turn, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro condemned the coup against Bolivian President Evo Morales, calling for “mobilization to demand the preservation of the lives of Bolivian indigenous peoples victim of racism”.

The Bolivian president, announced his resignation after three weeks of protests against him. He pointed out that the illegal arrest warrant has been issued against him.
