Mexico is introducing concrete measures against the migration from Central America, Mexico wants to help Honduras create jobs.

From now to December, 20,000 jobs should arise, announced the Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard on Saturday. President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador later explained in Minatitlan after a meeting with his Honduran counterpart Juan Orlando Hernandez that they would be helping the country’s coffee farmers in particular.

This year, the United States has seen an increase in migrants on the border with Mexico. Many are fleeing poverty and violence from countries such as Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. They are heading north through Mexico with the aim of getting to the United States. President Donald Trump has threatened punitive measures on the states in Central America those do not act against immigration attempts.
