Passenger plane crashes in Texas, 6 dead

The US Federal Aviation Administration said all passengers on a small plane died after crashing ahead of landing at the airport in central Texas on Monday morning.

Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Lynn Lunsford said the plane, a model Beechcraft BE58 Fell about 10 kilometers from the city of Kerrville, which was scheduled to land, which led the killing of pilot and five passengers.

The spokesman said the flight from Houston, Texas, was not commercial, and state authorities had sent a team from the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration to investigate the incident.
