A recent poll showed a continuing decline in Americans’ satisfaction with the performance of US President Donald Trump.

The survey, conducted by the Gallup Opinion Research Institute, found that 42 percent of US citizens agree with Trump’s performance, matching six previous polls since Trump recorded a 46 percent rise in April.

The results of the poll were based on Americans’ satisfaction from July 15 to July 31, when the controversy over Trump’s comments on social media and his demand by four non-white Democratic Democrats in Congress to return to the countries they came from – comments that many Americans considered racist.

During the same period, Trump raised controversy over negative comments about the city of Baltimore, Maryland, addressed to Elijah Cummings, the city’s deputy who headed the committee that oversaw many investigations into the administration of President Bush.

The poll was also conducted during the period of Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller’s testimony before the House of Representatives on July 24 on the results of his investigation into the relationship of Trump electoral campaign in 2016 in Russia and the alleged obstruction of justice to disrupt those investigations.
