As the snow blankets United States, National Meteorological Agency has issued a blizzard warning that is expected to hit some states that could make travel impossible, the official SPA news agency reported.
The meteorological service predicted that the storm coming from eastern California, loaded with snow towards the Midwest states, and snow may rise in the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan between 15 and 30 centimeters.

Snowstorms have killed at least one person in South Dakota, and highways in several states have been closed, affecting land and air traffic.
