US President Donald Trump said there has been significant progress in NATO over the past three years, stressing that countries other than the United States have agreed to pay $130 billion more a year, and by 2024 that figure will be $400 billion. “North Atlantic Treaty Organisation will be richer and stronger than ever”.

Trump’s first comment came after he canceled his press conference and left the NATO summit in London against the backdrop of a leaked video showing NATO leaders making fun of him, according to Russia on Tuesday.
