Donald Trump has faced charges of anti-Semitism after he told a pro-Israel Jewish group that they were voting for him to protect their wealth.
According to The Independent, Trump indicated to the members of the Israeli-American Council that they were brutal killers, not kind people, but he said they would vote for him to avoid the wealth tax proposed by his Democratic rivals Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden.
“It is not even a hidden anti-Semitism, as Trump says this out loud and in front of a crowd of Jews” – Dania Rothenberg
“Many of you are in real estate because I know you well, you are brutal killers, you are not at all kind, but you will vote for me, you have no choice”, the US president said.
Trump continued, saying: “You will not vote for Pocahontas (the name given to Senator Elizabeth Warren). I can tell you this, you will not vote for the wealth tax, and even if you do not love me, some of you do not really love me, and I do not like some of you either at all, but you will be greater. They support me because you will be out of work 15 minutes after the Democrats enter”.

Trump’s comments caused criticism and accusations of him being anti-Semitic, he described the members of a Jewish group as their political motivation driven by money.
American Rabbi Dania Rothenberg said on Twitter that it is not even a hidden anti-Semitism, as he says this out loud and in front of a crowd of Jews.
Trump had also questioned the loyalty of American Jews to Israel, he said: “We must get people out from our country to love Israel more”.
