Trump: We are ready to negotiate with Iran if it wants to

The US president Donald Trump- as quoted by ABC News -said that the Iranian economy suffers from US sanctions and that Iran has become a weak state and seeks to make a deal with the United States.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday that Iran would not negotiate with the United States on its nuclear and missile programs.
This came after Iranian President Hassan Rouhani hinted that talks with Washington might be possible if sanctions were lifted.
