The United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) forbids several MacBook Pro laptops to be taken aboard any flight after the device manufacturer retracts a specific unit because it has a battery that could pose a fire risk.
“The FAA is informed that the battery is used in certain MacBook models
The recall has been put at risk, “a spokesperson for the agency said in a statement Monday.
According to the spokesperson, all airlines have been notified of the recall of the product.
Apple Inc said in June that it would recapture a 15-inch MacBook Pro laptop because the battery could easily reach extreme temperatures.
All of these units entered the market between September 2015 and February 2017.
