US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the Middle East peace plan, which the United States intends to put forward, will give up old standards on issues such as Jerusalem and settlements.
“I am very confident that what has been tried in the past has failed, and I am optimistic that what we do will give us better prospects to achieve results that will be better for the Palestinian and Israeli people,” Pompeo told Congress on Wednesday. The United States wants to expand the debate.
