The US state department said in a travel warning on Saturday for April, that terrorist groups continue to plan possible operations targeting tourist areas, hotels, shopping malls, restaurants, clubs and places of worship.

The ministry pointed out that the Turkish authorities carried out random arrests, politically motivated, including tens of thousands of people, including US citizens, allegedly belonging to terrorist organizations based on the alleged evidence is weak.

The state department called on all US employees working in Turkey not to travel to many cities and regions without prior notification of the destination, stressing that the ability of the United States to provide relief services is very small in the number of 14 Turkish cities, indicating that terrorist groups are likely to launch attacks without A warning against government facilities and during any sports or cultural events and against the educational institutions, airports and other public places.

The State Department noted that it had added the “K” to the United States citizens’ travel warning to Turkey, which indicated that foreigners were more likely to be hijacked at destinations where the mark was added.
