US Stocks ends lower on weak US jobs report


U.S. stock indexes on Friday ended lower after US weak jobs report. U.S. employment growth almost stalled in February, with the economy producing only 20,000 jobs, adding to signs of a sharp slowdown in economic activity in the first quarter.

The weak U.S. report added to economic fears also fanned by a sharp fall in China’s exports

The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, -0.09%, down 22.99, to 25,450.

The S&P 500 index SPX, -0.20%, down 5.40, to 2,743.53, and the Nasdaq Composite COMP, -0.16%, down 11.19, to 7,015.69.
