According to local police, the one-passenger passenger plane crashed about 6am (local time) in Upper Moreland township, about 32 kilometers from Philadelphia.
Police in a statement said they received a call from a resident about a plane crash in his backyard.
“Police have confirmed that the plane took three passengers and all were killed,” Upper Moreland police said.
The statement also said the victims were spouses, aged 60 and 54 and their 19-year-old daughter.
