Minnesota State Police arrested a truck driver who was driving too fast on a highway in Minneapolis amongst protesters, according to the “Russia Today” website without casualties amongst the demonstrators and the truck driver was taken to hospital after his injury.
Protests resumed in numerous cities against the background of the killing of George Floyd, an African American, in Minneapolis.
The protests pervade as well as Minneapolis, the country’s largest cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Seattle, Philadelphia and Washington, DC.
Later, the mayor of Washington, DC, announced a curfew in the District of Columbia from 11 pm on Sunday, May 31 to 6:00 am on Monday, June 1.
