A trade deal between the United States and China is still possible before the end of the year, a senior adviser to US President Donald Trump said on Monday, adding that the first phase of the deal was being written.

White House Chancellor Kellyanne Conway told reporters whether the trade deal could still be reached this year to address some trade disputes between the world’s two largest economies.
