At least 11 militants from the Dharash Khorasan organization were killed and wounded in separate air strikes on the eastern province of Nangarhar, military sources said Thursday.

The sources said in remarks quoted by the Afghan news agency Khama Press that air raids had been launched in the areas of Aceh and Dadha Bala in Nangarhar in the past 24 hours.

Five militants were killed in Aceh while four others were killed in Di Bala and several others were wounded in the two areas, the sources said.

Anti-government armed groups, including those loyal to Da’ash, have not commented on recent air strikes.
