The 21st round of bilateral investment agreement talks between China and the European Union (EU) began Monday in Beijing, China, for five days.
The two sides will negotiate the text of the convention and its list and will vigorously seek positive progress, the Ministry of Commerce said in a statement.
The agreement is one of China’s most important trade and economic negotiations, with the first round starting in 2013 and a high-level agreement expected by 2020.
