A 6.2 magnitude quake struck offshore Japan’s northeast on Sunday, but no tsunami warning was issued, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.
The agency said the 6.2 magnitude quake struck at 7.23 pm local time off the coast of Fukushima province and measured at a depth of 50 kilometers.
Japan Meteorological Agency added that there were no reports of fatal accidents or injuries so far.
