Earthquake measuring its 6-magnitude hit the island of Mindanao in Philippines on Wednesday, the European Seismological Center said.
The quake, which was later modified, took 5.7 degrees, 211 kilometers northeast of Davao, at a depth of 60 kilometers. No casualties reported
On December 29 last year, 6.9-magnitude earthquake has jolted the southern Philippine island of Mindanao.
The Philippines and Indonesia lie located on Ring of Fire, a vast Pacific Ocean region where many earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur.
In 2013, major quake with 7.1 magnitude rocked central islands of Philippines left more than 220 people were dead and wrecked historic churches in the central islands.
