A Japanese man stabbed 4 people in a hospital

A man with a knife stabbed three nurses and a policeman at a hospital in western Japan on Friday, police say, the latest stabbing incident in the country.

The nurses were stabbed in the chest and abdomen but their injuries did not threaten the life of the police, adding one member was also injured in the left arm.

Police have arrested a 45-year-old man who stabbed a nurse before fleeing. Two other nurses and policeman were injured while trying to arrest the man, police said.

Last May, a man armed with a knife struck a group of schoolchildren at a bus stop, killing one girl while 16 others were injured in a shocking incident in the country.
