Heavy contingents of Chinese semi-armed troops have been gathered about 30 kilometers from Hong Kong in Shenzhen city.

Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam, who is pro Beijing, said on Tuesday that the situation in the country’s independence has not returned to the home after 10 weeks of protests.

Chinese government media said many armed police units were seen gathering in a Shenzhen Bay Sports Center arena as they prepared for mass military training.

“The video recording is a hint that something bad might happen,” said EU foreign affairs committee advisor Alexandre Krauss.

This is another indication that Beijing is becoming increasingly impatient in Hong Kong, after the Chinese government announced that protest movements had begun to show signs of terrorism.
