China and Russia will cooperate on a range of major strategic projects and will enhance capacity to jointly address security threats and challenges, said State Councilor Wu Fengzhi, a member of the State Council.
The Chinese defense minister said at the 8th Moscow International Security Conference, conveyed by Chinese media, on Friday that the comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination between China and Russia is developing at a high level, and the cooperation between the two armies is growing deeper and stronger.
The Chinese army supports a new concept of common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security, as well as building a new style of military relations, bearing international responsibilities, pushing for the development of security mechanisms and vigorously maintaining global peace and stability, he said.
He also urged the international community to commit to multilateralism, justice, integrity and win-win cooperation, as well as dialogue and consultation, opposition to unilateralism, power politics, zero-sum game and the use of force.
The Chinese defense minister said his country is always committed to consolidating peace, promoting world growth and safeguarding the international system.
