At least eight people were killed and 33 others injured after a bomb exploded outside the gate of the University of Kabul, Saturday.

It is understood that an explosion occurred while students and lawyers were waiting to sit for the examination.

A health ministry spokesman, Wahidullah Mayar, said a student of 33 injured and taken to the hospital after an explosion occurred.

Kabul University students say, an explosion occurs when they were waiting to sit for a legal examination.

So far no party has come to claim responsibility for the attacks.

Yesterday, Taliban rebels blasted two car bombs south of Kandahar town which killed 12 people and 80 others.
