Germany supports energy and health projects in Pakistan with 22.4 million euros

Pakistan and Germany have signed an agreement under the German-Pakistani Development Program, under which Berlin will provide 22.4 million euros in financial aid to support energy, health and economic development projects in Pakistan.

The signing ceremony was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Islamabad, where the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Noor Ahmed, signed the agreement by the Government of Pakistan, while signed by the German government Chargé d’affaires in the German Embassy Jeanes Jocch, In the presence of the Pakistani Minister of Economic Affairs Mohammad Hammad Azhar.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Pakistan, development cooperation between Pakistan and Germany dates back to 1961, where the total volume of funding more than 3 billion euros.
