Hiroshige Seko: Attacks in Gulf of Oman will not affect Japanese energy supplies

Japanese Industry Minister Hiroshige Seko said the attacks on oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman would not affect Japan’s energy supplies, although the ministry issued a warning to Japanese energy companies after the accident..

Speaking at a news conference, Siko declined to comment on statements by US officials accusing Iran of the attacks and said Japan was still investigating.
