A large proportion of Koreans are called “addicts” for smartphones and websites, according to a study by the Korean Ministry of Science, Technology and Communications.

According to the world.kbs, the study, which works to identify over-reliance on smart phones in 2018, said that the percentage of smartphone users over the age of 3 to 69 years reached 19 percent last year, it was 17% in 2016, and 18% in 2017. “

The sites attract and make Koreans addicted are instant messaging, social networking, electronic games, and news sites.

The research has been conducted on 28,000 people across the country, and 77 percent of smartphone users are aware of the seriousness of the matter.
