Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied that the Russian-Chinese partnership ties were directed against any country or group of countries.
“One of the characteristics of Russian-Chinese partnership is that it is not directed against any third country or group of countries, so it is completely wrong to raise the question of whether we are coordinating on the issue of the United States or against the United States,” Peskov said on Sunday.
“China and Russia have their own issues with the United States, and in fact, China has trade wars with Washington, while we have our own problems with the Americans, which are mainly related to strategic security and disarmament issues,” the Russian news agency quoted the official as saying.
The Americans’ reluctance to conduct any substantive dialogue on this, so each of us has own problems “with the United States, Peskov added
