The Russian Federal Space Agency said in a statement said that the decision of the United States will reflect negatively on international cooperation in the organization of regular launches of space devices to the orbits planned on a commercial basis.

The agency said that this is an attempt to prevent American producers from the possibility of cooperation with the Russian space sector and restrict the use of Russian space transportation in world markets, stressing that the Pentagon seeks to demolish what has been built and maintained hard effort in the Russian-American relations in the space field.

Earlier in the day, the Pentagon said it had included Russia in the list of countries that prevent the US use of services in the launch of commercial satellites, starting in 2023.
