Prime Minister of Nepal KP Oli accused India of causing the outbreak of the new coronavirus in his country, noting the difficulty of controlling the virus due to the influx of people coming from abroad, and Oli said – according to the Indian “NDTV” channel reported on Wednesday that the arrivals from India through illegal channels spread the epidemic in the country, adding that the virus in India is more deadly than it was in China and Italy, as more people are infected.

The Prime Minister also held a number of local representatives and party leaders responsible for bringing individuals from India without subjecting them to appropriate checks, in his first statements to Parliament since the beginning of the “new Corona crisis”.

It is noteworthy that the situation is tense between India and Nepal recently after the announcement of New Delhi to open a link road in a disputed area between them at a strategic triple junction with Tibet and China.

Nepal had reported nearly 400 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) and two deaths.
