Russian citizenship: Labor Ministry proposes to simplify acquisition of citizenship by foreign medical professionals

The Russian Ministry of Labor and Social Protection has proposed to expand a list of specialists to double Russian citizenship. This is mainly about health and agriculture specialists.

The draft ministerial order has been published today, and the accompanying explanatory memorandum proposes that the simplified procedures for the Russian citizenship, include the following specialties: pediatricians and psychiatrists.

In addiction general practitioners, internal diseases, surgical specialists, nurses, medical laboratory technicians, pharmacists, radiologists, paramedics, neurologists, otolaryngologists, ophthalmologists, dentists and trauma specialists.
