Tencent Cloud announced the official opening of the second district of India. The opening of the data center officially established the dual-use zone pattern of Tencent Cloud in the South Asian market. In the future, local Indian companies or international companies wishing to expand into the South Asian market will be able to more easily acquire Tencent’s cloud-high cloud computing services and technical capabilities.

India’s second district is also located in the core city of Mumbai. By partnering with local leading data center providers, diversified network access standards can provide quality network coverage services throughout India and surrounding countries. With Tencent Cloud’s dual-use zone advantage in South Asia, combined with Tencent’s own advanced BGP technology, it will help users expand the South Asian market more quickly.

In March of this year, Tencent Cloud first landed in India, attracting international Internet vendors such as Garena’s game Freefire and the world-renowned social media music company Smule.

With the rapid increase in demand from corporate users in the South Asian market, Tencent Cloud is also actively exploring the second district of India. High standards of infrastructure design, neutral network status, and the dual-use advantage of Tencent Cloud in the South Asian market have attracted many Internet vendors to deploy business here.

Since this year, Tencent Cloud has successively opened data centers in Hong Kong, Thailand, the United States, India, and Moscow. With the opening of the second district of India, Tencent Cloud has operated 51 available zones in 25 geographical regions around the world, and the internationalization of Tencent Cloud has gradually accelerated. Good infrastructure has provided safe and reliable global services for multi-industry users such as Live.me, Ookbee, Mobike, and Futu Securities.

In the future, Tencent Cloud will continue to lay out global nodes, improve the global dispatch system, and provide global cloud services that integrate cloud computing, cloud data and cloud operations for more enterprises, helping enterprises to complete intelligent transformation.
