Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohammad will honor the Pakistan Day Parade on March 23rd, said Director General of Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor.

In a official Twitter account of DG Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Ghafoor stated that the Malaysian Prime Minister will be the guest of honour while other guests include Defence Minister of Azerbaijan, Chief of Army Staff of Bahrain and government officials from Oman.

Several contingents from Azerbaijan, Bahrain, China, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka and Turkey will also participate in parade of Pakistan Day, DG ISPR added.

It is pertinent to mention that Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohammad is visiting Pakistan on special invitation of Prime Minister Imran Khan he had made during his visit to Malaysia last year.

Dr Mahathir was formally invited on Nov 29, 2018 by Pakistan to visit the country. Pakistani High Commissioner Nafees Zakaria met the dignitary and delivered an invitation to the Malaysian PM on behalf of the country.

Well informed sources revealed that during Malaysian PM state visit, the two countries will sign memorandums of understandings MoUs and investment accords.
