Al-Arabiya television reported in Headlines that the Turkish Election Commission rejected the ruling party’s “Justice and Development” request for a recount in 31 districts.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s party suffered a blow after opposition candidate Ikram Emamoglu won the municipal elections in Istanbul, beating former Prime Minister Ben Ali Yildirim.
