Two explosions occurred in the Afghan capital Kabul on Thursday, minutes after a bomb on a bus carrying government employees killed five people, government officials said.
“There was an explosion near the site of the bus explosion and the second in the eastern part of the city,” Interior Ministry spokesman Nasrat Rahimi said.
Officials said earlier that at least five people were killed and 10 wounded when a bomb strapped to the bus carrying government employees exploded.
A witness near the site said after the explosion a minibus caught fire and saw a number of wounded and some bodies. No one claimed responsibility for the two explosions.
