Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chinese President Xi Jinping discussed bilateral relations and the economic corridor Pakistan is carrying out in cooperation with China.

During the meeting in Kyrgyzstan’s capital Bishkek on Thursday, the two leaders discussed in the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) regional summit, during their meeting Xi and Khan renewed  to resolve their commitment to further deepen the strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries.

Khan stressed Pakistan’s commitment to continuing the implementation of the Pakistan-China Economic Corridor. For his part, President Xi Jinping acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts to fight terrorism and promote regional security and stability.
