7 Aftershocks hit Athens after an earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale

The Athens Institute of Geodynamics announced that seven earthquakes struck the Greek capital of Athens on Friday after being hit by an earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale.

The Institute said – according to the network, “CNN” US – the largest earthquake follower with a magnitude of 3.1 on the Richter scale, noting that there were no reports of casualties or human.

The institute had earlier announced that the epicenter of the quake occurred 23 kilometers (14 miles) northwest of the Greek capital Athens.
