Albanian police on Sunday arrested 50 people for assaulting police and public property as demonstrations demanding the resignation of the government continued for the second consecutive day in the capital, Tirana..

Prime Minister Edi Rama expressed his support for the police in trying to break up the demonstrations on Saturday and denounced the behavior of demonstrators who threw stones at the police and the government building with fireworks and fireworks.
