The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has faced a major blow since ruling when the European Union (EU), Liberal Democrats seized parliamentary seats in Brecon and Radnorshire from the Conservative leadership today.

This has reduced the majority of the party in Parliament to just one seat, leading to a meeting with lawmakers in the fall.

The meeting unveiled the Brexit plan on October 31 without any agreement.

So far, the Boris Johnson government has relied heavily on the support of a small political party in Northern Ireland to gain a majority.

However, it does not include a handful of ‘rebels’ within the Conservative party itself that could result in losing the party.

“The majority of Boris Johnson is declining to explain that he has no mandate to remove us from the EU.

“I will do whatever it takes to stop Brexit and offer a more positive alternative and vision. We now have another Member of Parliament (MP) who will oppose Brexit in Parliament, ”said Liberal Democrat leader Jo Swinson, who now has 13 seats in Parliament, in a statement.

Brecon’s election came to an end when Conservative MP Chris Davies was ousted following a petition in his favored constituency, which convicted him of falsifying spending.

Liberal Democrat candidate Jane Dodds won after gaining 13,826 votes.

Davies, came in second with 12,401 votes, while the Brexit Party came in third with 3,331 votes and the Labor Party’s opposition was fourth with 1,680 votes.

The seat was previously owned by the Liberal Democrats from 1997 to 2015 that Davies won.

In the early 2017 election, he won the seat with 8,000 majority votes.
