A few weeks before the deadline, Boris Johnson wants to make his final proposal for a withdrawal agreement to the EU. His offer is described by the PM as a “fair compromise”. At the same time he threatens with an unregulated Brexit.

The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Wednesday, the EU will make a “definitive bid” for a new Brexit deal, Downing Street announced on Tuesday. If Brussels were not prepared to discuss the new proposal, the government would stop the negotiations and there would be an unregulated Brexit.

The head of the British government insists that the catch-up solution for the Irish-Northern Irish border, the so-called backstop, provided for in the previous withdrawal agreement be canceled. Otherwise, he threatens an unregulated exit, from the European Union on 31 October. Johnson refused any shift in the United Kingdom and European Union membership referendum.
