Environment Canada has issued freezing weather warnings for a total of eight provinces including: Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nunavut, Northwest Territories, and New Brunswick. This means that more than half of the Canadian provinces are expected to experience icy temperatures.

According to The Weather Network, when the snow starts falling, it will enhance the cold air mass and move temperatures into record territory by Friday morning.

Extreme wind chill values of -60 to -65 are expected to hit Canada this February”, warns Environment Canada.

According to the Weather Network, Canada is going to be even colder than Antarctica and the North Pole next month as temperatures will drop to -65C with windchill values.

Over the next month, Canada will experience one of the most extreme temperature anomalies on the planet.
